The Ultra-light self-inflating air pad is the ideal pad to bring along when every ounce matters, but comfort is still a must. The pads feature cored-out foam to help save weight. To reduce weight even more, they feature a tapered shape to form to your sleeping bag shape. The tapered shape also makes the packed size even smaller. The Ultra-light features jet stream open cell foam so air will start sucking in as soon as the valve is opened to allow for a quick inflation time. As with all of the Alps air pads, the Ultra-light series comes with a repair kit and stuff sack… which is something other companies will make you pay extra for.
